Birth of Planet Earth

During this impressive fulldome show, we relive the birth of the solar system.

We start about 5 bilion years ago with a shockwave of a supernova that started the birth of the Sun, our star in the Milky Way galaxy. We follow the spectacular formation of the planets orbiting the sun, with uncountable collisions that eventually lead to the birth of Earth and our natural satellaite, the moon. Afterwards something special happens. Life emerges on the third planet orbiting the sun. We examine the ingenious processes that the first lifeforms use and we continue to use to this day. Then only one question remains: is Earth a unique place in the universe, an oasis of life in an inhospitable cosmos? Or is our planet just one of the many with habitable circumstances?

A visit lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes a planetarium show, a visit to the telescopes in the observation tower, and the Cozmix exhibition hall.
