Studying black holes forces us to think about space, time and gravity. What exactly these concepts mean is difficult to explain, but they play a fundamental role in the universe. Black holes are probably the most extraordinary objects in the universe: they can form from violent explosions of very massive stars... they warp the spacetime around them... they devour stars... and generate gravitational waves that are detectable on Earth. Black holes are still on the edge of our knowledge. Unraveling their secrets is one of the most fascinating challenges in human history.
A visit lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes a planetarium show, a visit to the telescopes in the observation tower, and the Cozmix exhibition hall.
